If you feel like you’ve lost your spark lately, endometriosis can get the better of you, you’re not alone.
That spark, the energy, joy and the creativity that makes life feel meaningful can get lost in living with chronic conditions like endometriosis in times of high stress, exhaustion and living in survival mode.

It can leave you feeling unmotivated and like you’re going through the motions or the things that used to excite you don’t move you anymore.
But I hope this post reminds you, your spark is never truly gone. It just needs to be reignited with care and intention.
With care and intention it will pass even with tribulations from living with chronic pelvic pain conditions like Endometriosis.
Let’s go through some impressionistic ways to reignite your mojo even on the worst days where functionality seems impossible.
Reconnect with your ‘why’ mindset
Ask yourself, What matters most to me?
Not in the eyes of others, but in alignment with my own beliefs, dreams and goals?
Write down one of the following, values, dreams and beliefs that feels important to you, and let it guide a choice you will make today.
Affirmation – I reclaim my agency and expand my capacity when I honor what truly matters to me.
Do a simple energy audit.
Often, your spark dims because you’re overextended when a bad day hits one after the other. Identify something draining your energy, it could for example be overcommitment, negative self-talk, lack of rest, flare up, high pain so lets find one way to replenish your energy.
Write in a journal, stand in nature, sand in your toes at the beach, rearrange something to make it beautiful something empowering.
Heatpacks, tens, medication sometimes cant beat if possible writing your thoughts (self expression) standing in nature, bath with candles and oils or creating something physically beautiful to look at.
Then choose one simple energy giver to prioritise today!
Affirmation – I am worthy of prioritizing the things that give me energy in all situation’s.
Let go of perfectionism.
Pushing yourself towards unrealistic standards and pursuits on those slow burn days, is one of the quickest ways to “burnout” and dim your spark quickly.
Ask yourself, What would “enough” look like today?
Let that be your guide
Write a short list of achievable goals that will inspire a shift in energy if not in your thoughts.
Affirmation – I never need to prove my worth with perfectionism, performance, or hustle.
I give myself full permission to be enough in this moment body, mind, heart and soul.

Some define them as “glimmers” the small moments in life that bring calm and happiness. Glimmers allow space in parts of your life. You can be having a hard day and notice the most beautiful sunset (glimmer).
You can be going through a time of exhaustion but still appreciate kind words from a stranger (glimmer)
You can be feeling the worst pain in the world, and still find 10 minutes of calm on your daily walk or a moment of rest with heat, pain relief and a power nap (extra glimmer)
These small moments can fuel your spark in a powerful way.
Affirmation – I will notice and appreciate the glimmers today, and allow myself room for joy. When I seek out moments of lightness, I can show up more fully for the things that matter to me.
If you’re in a time of growth, reclaiming your worth or building something new with your time and energy to move you forward with clarity, confidence and hope.
I hope this reminds you that even in times of stress, exhaustion, and survival, your spark is never truly gone, it exists for your happiness.
It just needs some care and intention and you are worthy of remembering that your needs, your rest, and your joy are important in every season of your life.
